Era Care is an independent provider of services for children and young people of either sex aged 11 to 18, with social, emotional and behavioural disorders.

These may include:

  • Difficulties accessing education
  • Substance and/or alcohol misuse
  • Risky behavior (missing)
  • Challenging/aggressive behaviour
  • Severely disordered attachments
  • Offending behaviour
  • Sexual exploitation
  • Sexually offending behaviour
  • Self-harm
  • Mild mental health difficulties

Era Care works in partnership with local authorities to provide a high standard of residential care for children and young people, and improve outcomes for them and their families. This includes post-16 transitional work into semi-independent living.

Our two homes accept short- and long-term and emergency placements. All our homes meet national Ofsted requirements and applicable safety standards.

Within each home we create individually tailored care packages to meet the needs of each child and young person. Allocation of a key worker and spending quality time with exemplary adult role models helps them reflect on their progress and plans.
