Era Care is an independent provider of services for children and young people and working with families to come up with solutions to difficult situations. We are looking forward to working in partnership with Local Authorities CSF to try to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Era Care has been set up to try and help prevent your family breakdown by providing a placement with structured 96-hour programme and up to 28 days so that you can keep up your normal routines (go to school, keep any appointments, etc) in a neutral place where you feel safe and have time to think. We provide individually tailored packages of care that are constantly reviewed to meet the needs of each young person in our care.

Our service aims to be one that is inclusive and develops a realistic approach to the issues of every day life. We work in partnership with other professionals to meet the emotional, psychological and health needs of young people.

We support and promote all aspects of health, health education and the development of health awareness.

We ensure that appropriate educational provision is made to meet the needs of each young person

Young people referred to us may exhibit challenging behaviour or diverse needs that will often have had a series of placements and/or periods in secure accommodation. Placement with ERA Care may also provide a positive alternative to secure accommodation where other placements have been unsuccessful in meeting a young person’s needs. Young people may be admitted in an emergency, at a time of crisis. ERA Care can provide period of stability to allow time for further assessment and for permanent plans to be developed
